Unity Bank’s 15th Annual Classic Car Show Benefiting Family Promise Will Be Held October 17th
CLINTON, N.J. (September 13, 2021) – Unity Bank is seeking sponsors and classic car owners for the 15th Annual Cruisin’ Bob’s Classic Car Show, which will be held at the bank’s Clinton headquarters October 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All proceeds from car show sponsorships, car registrations, 50/50 raffle and food sales will benefit Family Promise of Hunterdon County and Family Promise of Warren County.
“We are very excited to hold the car show every year because the event has been a fun way to support Family Promise’s valuable work in the community,” said Unity Bank President & CEO James A. Hughes. “Last year, the car show was held virtually due to the pandemic so we expect the 2021 event will be special. Our employees and the community love the car show because it is an enjoyable family event for everyone. The participation of sponsors and classic car owners is key to making the event a success for Family Promise so we encourage those interested to contact the bank.”
The emcee for the event is Doctor D. Entertainment. Admission is free. There will be games, prizes, children’s entertainment and food sales.
Please visit the Unity Bank website for car registration and sponsorship information at unitybank.com/special-pages/carshow. Sponsorship levels range from $25 to $250.
A $10 donation reserves a space for car owners who pre-register. Pre-registration is open until October 12th. Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited. A $15 fee will be charged to car owners who prefer to register the day of the show. The car show lot opens at 8:30 a.m. The 2019 car show drew a record number of automobiles and attendees. Classic car owners compete for cash prizes, judged by participants, in different categories.
Family Promise of Hunterdon County and Family Promise of Warren County provide services to both help overcome and prevent homelessness through the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) – a network of congregations and volunteers who provide overnight/weekend shelter, home-cooked meals, and companionship to families who enter the program. Comprehensive case management, licensed counseling services and a donation program are also available.
